Music

|Dubstep| Dubstep to me is the best type of music to listen to at a music festival. I love listening to this genre of music when I'm in a crowd just turnt and crazy that's kind of the feel of dubstep to me. This is a link to one of Skrillex music videos for "Kill Everybody", I actually saw him live at Lollapalooza in Chicago a couple years ago so he is an artist that sticks out to me in this genre.

|Techno| I don't listen to much techno music on the regular but there are certain videos I find entertaining like the link I provided for this movie that has techno music as effect. The video paired with the music gives it a whole new feel compared to the classic Disney story. I have seen other short videos like this that I like a lot that are more on IG that are trippy edits with similar music overlapped.

|Latin World| I like to listen to some music in Spanish an such, reggaeton however I don't normally listen to latin world more mixes with the electronic add ins. I found this video that I shared with the link the most interesting out of the options. The girl is shown dancing to the beats in some very brightly colored clothes and her dance moves are interesting, I think that if I was exposed to more music like this I would become more of a fan.

|Girl Power| The video that the link shows is from the show "skins" which is where I first hear of Crystal Castles, I just really like this moment in the show the character just let the fact that his dad died really sink in and he is in the club because he didn't tell anyone about it and its just a really intense feeling for him. I think that the music really matches the scene, just the sounds that I kind of describe as estranged, and falling, and just kind of in a depressed state.

|Electronic/Dj Culture| I have listened to David Guetta on occasion, I don't really seek out his music but I would listen to it if it's there. I like this one song "Titanium" which also features Sia's vocals. It just has a really strong emotions through it which can be seen through many different perspectives, depending on how you translate it for yourself.
